NYLPC Soirée (Lecture and Dinner) 2025

From 24 December 2024 onwards, normal fees of RM250 will apply.

After a successful NYLPC Soirée 2024, the Bar Council National Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee is organising NYLPC Soirée (Lecture and Dinner) 2025, an event which aims at replicating the “12 dinners” or now known as the Qualifying Sessions, conducted by the English Inns of Court. The objective of the event is to provide opportunities for professional and ethical development for young lawyers and pupils. NYLPC Soirée also provides a platform for young lawyers and pupils to meet and learn from the judiciary and senior members of the Bar. The event will begin with a lecture delivered by one of our honourable guests, followed by a dinner.

Terms and Conditions

Event Policy

  • No recording of the event is permitted via any means at any time.
  • No part of the event content may be used/reproduced in any form without the written and explicit consent of the Bar Council and speaker(s).
  • Registration will be confirmed once proof of payment is received and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
  • The registration for this session will close on 31 Dec 2024 (Tuesday), at 5:00 pm. Cancellations must be made in writing. There will be no refunds for cancellations made fewer than seven working days before the session but substitutions are allowed.
  • No additional registration will be accepted once the closing date has passed, or if the
    CPD event is full.
  • The CPD Department may not permit future registration if you fail to attend a CPD event after registering unless you provide acceptable and valid reasons.
  • The organizer reserves the right to modify, cancel or postpone the event, should
    circumstances arise that make such action necessary, whereupon all registration fees paid will be refunded.
  • Points for the CPD Scheme will not be awarded to Members of the Bar and pupils in
    chambers who arrive more than 15 minutes late, are not present throughout the event, or leave before its scheduled end.
