Description
The Bar Council Women’s Rights Committee (“WRC”) is pleased to introduce the next phase of its Women Lawyers Empowerment Programme (“PowHER”): the Leadership, Boardroom and Executive Track Programme for Women Lawyers.
This initiative forms part of WRC’s ongoing commitment to empower and enhance the competence of women lawyers for leadership roles such as board members, managing partners of law firms and senior executive roles. It seeks to prepare women lawyers by building a strong foundation and providing insights for professional growth and career advancement.
This inaugural session will focus on preparing participants for board-readiness and executive leadership pathways. The programme aims to strengthen the leadership pipeline of women lawyers in the corporate sector by exposing participants to governance, strategic and executive leadership skills relevant for board and senior management roles.
