Amidon Anan has served with the Police Force since 1976 and was appointed Head of CSI Unit in the Royal Malaysia Police Department’s Forensic Laboratory in 2008 until his retirement from the force.
He is a well –known figure in the Criminal Courts and has provided expert evidence in more than 1000 cases in Malaysian Courts. He was engaged to provide his expertise in numerous high profile cases such as the murder trials involving Canny Ong, Altantuya Shariibu and Nurin Jazlin Jazimin.
He currently owns a forensic consultant company and is a Visiting Lecturer at UKM with the Faculty of Health Sciences(Forensic Science Programme) and at UiTM Law Faculty.
