Dr. Sivasangaran Nadarajah holds a B.Sc.(Eng.)(Hons.) & a Ph.D. (Engineering) from Kings College London and a LLB
(London). He is currently an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, an Adjudicator (AIAC), an Arbitrator (AIAC), a Mediator (AIAC and Malaysian Mediation Center) and a Patent Agent (MyIPO).

He has experience as a consultant Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry overseeing design, value engineering and contract administration of works and as a software developer. As a legal practitioner, he has, amongst others: advised on Competition, Personal Data Protection and Construction Law; drafted and reviewed various IT, cloud computing, construction and engineering projects related contracts (including infrastructure, power generation plants). He has also been involved in litigation, arbitration and adjudication matters.

He has spoken on: “Malaysian Patent Law – Pharmaceuticals”, “1Malaysia Medicines: The Way Forward in Intellectual Property” at MyIPO; on Competition Law “Bid Rigging – Are you at Risk” at KLRCA, on “Fundamentals of Effective Decision Writing” at KLRCA and on “Drafting a Concrete Clad Decision” at AIAC; and he has moderated seminars related to Personal Data Protection.

Furthermore, he has co-authored technical papers which were published in The Transactions of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) in Detroit, USA, in the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK), conferences and symposiums and has authored papers related to the law too.
