Description

In this webinar, the speaker will focus on presenting the Court of Arbitration for Sport (“CAS”) generally and its procedures, and the way it ensures procedural efficiency and fairness.

Speaker

William Sternheimer is the Manager for Training and Education at CAS and a Paris-qualified lawyer. After beginning his career in international commercial arbitration at Gide, William held multiple roles with the CAS, from counsel to deputy secretary general. After ten years, William left to become a partner with Morgan Sports Law, a sports disputes resolution firm, where he represented international athletes, clubs and federations.

William recently decided to return to the CAS to develop and supervise training programs for CAS arbitrators and mediators, and promote education about the CAS both in general and at an academic level.
