Annou Xavier graduated from the University of London and was admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1996. He was later called to the Malaysian Bar in October 1997. Since then, he has been an active practitioner, specializing in the area of corporate and civil litigation, with many of his cases being reported in the Malayan Law Journal, Current Law Journal (cljlaw.com) and All Malaysia Reports. (http://www.alss.co/our-people-2/partners/ annou-xavier/)
Annou appears almost daily in Courts for trials and hearings on civil and corporate disputes. He describes the Courts as his ‘second home’ and manages his practice with a combination of technical and technological knowledge in matters of dispute resolution.
Annou has also been involved in some high profile human rights and controversial constitutional law cases, such as the case on the use of the ‘Allah’ word. His cases constantly catch media attention due to the complexity and peculiarity of such cases.
Law, through the eyes of Annou, is a living creature. It evolves, grows and moves with modern times. But like all things, Law must be promulgated for common good.
