Insights Into Corporate Practice – Mergers & Acquisition

13 Jul 2018 - Fri / 1 day / 3:00pm - 5:00pm / Pahang Bar Auditorium - B-46, Tingkat 1-A, Lorong Tun Ismail 6, Peti Surat 227, 25000 Kuantan, Pahang

Generally, the process to acquire shares in a company (other than through a stock exchange) is not so different from the process to acquire a real estate. Similarly, the general duties and responsibilities of a corporate lawyer in a corporate transaction are not alien to the general duties and responsibilities of, for instance, a conveyancing lawyer.

So, what makes corporate practice different from other practices? Or, perhaps the correct question might be, what is actually corporate practice? In this session we will share, among others, what corporate practice is all about, what are the roles of a corporate lawyer in a corporate transaction and the practical aspects of how a corporate lawyer should discharge such roles.
