Speaker

Srimurugan Alagan holds a Masters in Law (LL.M) specializes in International Dispute Resolution from the University of London. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor in 2003. Srimurugan was the Project Head of Bar Council Legal Aid from 2004-2006, Member of the Asean Law Association of Malaysia; member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Malaysia in 2015 and a Legal Advisor (Experimental Aircraft Association, Malaysia) (EAA) from 2005-2009.

He has written several articles which have been published in CLJ namely Remand Proceedings – Practice and Procedure [2005] 2 CLJ i, Right to a Speedy Trial – Fact or Fiction? He is also the author of the book titled “Jurisdiction of Courts in Malaysia”.
