Overview of the Amendments of National Land Code 1965

Dr. Sharifah Zubaidah Syed Abdul Kader is an Associate Professor at the Civil Law Department of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She has been serving IIUM for 25 years as a law lecturer teaching subjects like land law and equity. She is one of the contributing authors in the book “Principles of Malaysian Land Law” (Lexis-Nexis, 2008). Dr. Sharifah
Zubaidah has also held posts such as the Chief Editor of the IIUM Law Journal, Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs) of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws and is currently the Director of the International Centre for Waqf Research (ICWR-IIUM). Her main areas of interest are land law as well as waqf governance and management. She is also a non-practising Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, previously practicing in Nik Saghir, Yaacob & Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

Abdul Aziz bin Mohd Johdi currently serves as the Setiausaha Bahagian, Bahagian Mineral Dan Geosains, Kementerian Sumber Asli Dan Alam Sekitar (Under Secretary at the Minerals and Geoscience Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment), Malaysia. He is a graduate of the International Islamic University with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree and a Bachelor of Laws (Shariah) (Hons) Degree. His previous work experience includes various positions at JKPTG.
