Practical Aspects on How Law Firms Can Manage Dawn Raids

Dawn raids are among the most disruptive and intimidating actions that enforcement agencies can take. They are unannounced, intrusive, and often leave little time to react. For lawyers and their clients, a raid can unfold without warning — and the way you respond in those first critical moments may have lasting consequences.

The Bar Council Committee on AMLA is once again organising this important webinar to equip Members with practical strategies and insights on how to handle dawn raids effectively.

Description

Practical Aspects on How Law Firms Can Manage Dawn Raids

Dawn raids are among the most disruptive and intimidating actions that enforcement agencies can take. They are unannounced, intrusive, and often leave little time to react. For lawyers and their clients, a raid can unfold without warning — and the way you respond in those first critical moments may have lasting consequences.

The Bar Council Committee on AMLA is once again organising this important webinar to equip Members with practical strategies and insights on how to handle dawn raids effectively.

Drawing on real-world experiences and expert guidance, the session will cover:

  • Your rights and obligations during a raid
  • The critical do’s and don’ts when enforcement officers arrive
  • Protecting client confidentiality under pressure
  • Best practices for law firms to be raid-ready

This webinar goes beyond theory. It will walk you through what really happens when enforcement officers come knocking — and how to safeguard yourself, your firm, and your clients when every decision counts.
