Muhammad Rafique Bin Rashid Ali was called to the Bar in 2002, has vast experience in Criminal Litigation and an active Committee Member of the Selangor Bar Committee (Chairperson for the Sports Development & Fitness sub-committee). He is known for his sound advocacy and Court room decorum.
Rafique handles death penalty cases both at Trial as well as the Appeals stages at the Court of Appeal as well as the Federal Court. He also works closely as Counsel for junior lawyers who have an inclination to venture into criminal practice. He is an active Trainer for the Bar Council's Criminal Trial Advocacy Course all around the country. Rafique is passionate about the Law and anchors his believes on the often quoted maxim "one is innocent until proven otherwise".
