Description
The Bar Council National Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee (“NYLPC”) is organising a programme entitled “Introduction to the Legal Profession”, which is a one-day event aimed at providing insights into the legal profession. The programme is geared towards students who are interested in, or just curious about, the legal profession and being a lawyer in Peninsular Malaysia.
The event consists of talks by practising lawyers, a panel session where participants may pose questions to young lawyers, as well as a mini workshop to assist students in managing their expectations in relation to joining the legal profession.
Students — especially those already enrolled in an academic programme, or who are considering a law degree and a career as a lawyer — will find this event to be an excellent opportunity to learn about the legal profession.
